MERCHANT CONTROL
Non-Custodial USDT Payment Gateway
USDTonPay helps merchants accept USDT without custodying merchant settlement funds. Payments settle directly to the merchant wallet.
What non-custodial means in this payment flow
In a non-custodial payment flow, the merchant’s customer does not send settlement funds into a platform-controlled merchant balance. The customer sends USDT to the wallet that the merchant configured for the payment.
USDTonPay provides the operational layer around that transfer: checkout, payment detection, confirmation status and integration tools. It does not hold the merchant’s normal settlement funds or require the merchant’s private key.
The funds path and software path
Why merchants consider a non-custodial gateway
Direct control of settlement
Merchants maintain control of the wallet that receives customer payments.
No platform balance to withdraw
The normal merchant payment path does not depend on moving funds from a USDTonPay custody balance.
Clear merchant responsibilities
Merchants retain responsibility for wallet security, wallet configuration and their own fulfilment decisions.
Non-custodial describes how settlement funds move; it is not an absolute security claim. Operational security still matters, including protecting wallet access, confirming the correct receiving address and checking payment status before fulfilment.
